Should you wish to speak to a doctor, please contact the surgery to request a phone ring back appointment and the doctor will call you back.

If you live in England, you can now access treatment for the below common conditions without the need to see your GP.*

North Derbyshire GP collaborative extended access
We are now working closely together with local GP Practices to provide extra appointments including Saturday and Sundays at different locations.
This now provides extra appointments throughout the day and now includes weekday evenings between 6:30pm and 8pm. Please ask the surgery for more information should you require it. This service is provided with Welbeck Road Surgery, Shires Healthcare, Barlborough and Ashgate Manor in Chesterfield town.
SMS text reminders
If we have your mobile phone number recorded, we can now send SMS texts to remind you of appointments you have booked in advance and when your routine reviews are due. If you are due a review, please book an appointment. Should you wish to opt out of this service, please let us know.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- use the GP online system: SystmOnline
- phone us on 01246 826815 during opening times
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
Home visits can be arranged for those patients too ill to attend the surgery. Please use the service thoughtfully and contact us as early as possible in the morning. All requests for routine home visits should be made by calling us at 8am on the day on 01246 826815.
