Just Good Friends Club is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities through social clubs. The aim is to give members a choice and a voice in making decisions and promote and develop life skills.
They have 6 evening clubs a week in Bolsover, Whitwell, Pinxton, Clowne, Chesterfield and Dronfield. The evening clubs run from 7pm – 9pm every week and are £6. All clubs apart from Pinxton are open now. Unfortunately, the Pinxton venue is currently unavailable to us but we do hope to open this soon.
They have also recently introduced the JGFC Social Hub; a daytime group where members can explore new activities like gardening, cooking, walking and new things that members want to try.
These sessions are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and split into morning and afternoon sessions with the option to stay all day and bring lunch. Please see attached leaflets for more information.
