Covid-19 Vaccine

Can you all please use every opportunity to encourage friends, family, colleagues and others in your networks who haven’t yet taken up the offer of a vaccination to do so at the first opportunity.

The majority of patients in hospital beds with Covid-19 have not been vaccinated, and we are seeing an increase in the delta variant, so ensuring that everyone has two doses of the vaccination is our best protection for each other and the NHS.

There is a national booking service (NBS), book or manage your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination – NHS) on the NHS website. For people who cannot, or would prefer not to book online there is a phone service, call 119 free of charge.

You can speak to a translator if you need to. If you have difficulties communicating or hearing, or are a British Sign Language (BSL) user, you can use textphone 18001 119 or the NHS 119 BSL interpreter service.

When you book you’ll only be offered appointments for vaccines that are recommended for you based on your age, any underlying health conditions, and whether you’re pregnant.
